Let me introduce myself
“Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist”, who at night, in the glow of moonlight, protects humanity like a bastion.
Who wouldn’t like to be able to describe themselves like that?
Even if reality differs greatly from this, I am proud to introduce myself as an Embedded Application Developer.
Since my studies and with first practical experiences my passion for the world of embedded systems is growing. What fascinates me most is how almost invisible and unnoticed our everyday life is revolutionized by these tiny little helpers.
Be it in scanners in forensics for securing evidence, as human-machine interface of large construction machines in road construction, in life-supporting medical technology of hospitals or while shopping in the supermarket. Embedded computer systems can be found everywhere.
It is this diversity that I love. It requires a good balance between creative spirit and the need to achieve results.
Working together on the challenge of developing dedicated functions within a larger mechanical or electronic system to the point is huge fun for me. But in no way should the bigger picture be overlooked. Thinking outside the box and discovering new solutions are just as essential for the success of my team and the product.
It takes innovation and ingenuity to stay one step ahead and perhaps usher in the next disruptive change. Pushing technology to its limits while putting the user at the center.
Achieving all of this and keeping it economically justifiable is what I call the great art of engineering.
Trust, reliability and strong communication among each other are especially important to me. I live these values as a project-oriented motivational driver and remover of impediments who is always open to people’s concerns.
